Agenda

This blog is the radical wing of the Facebook novel, The Man Who Painted Agnieszka’s Shoes. It’s the place where discussion about the publishing industry stops and getting on with the future of literature starts.

It’s a place for frustration without spleen; for regret without bitterness; it’s a place for writers to come and suck energy from each other and their readers – to put to test the Adam Smith theory of culture – culture isn’t zero sum. It keeps on increasing as long as it keeps on flowing. Stop and it doesn’t stay still. It dies.

This is a place for short inspirational messages to fellow writers; for longs, slow group hugs; for drop dead innovative suggestions; er, and to help me write my novel, The Man Who Painted Agnieszka’s Shoes.

How to get published is yesterday’s debate. How to write at the limits is tomorrow’s project.

(but then I have no idea how to get published, so yesterday's debate is way over my head)
